SEO & SEM

1. Marketing challenge

Casambi is a Finnish-based company offering smart lighting solution for the modern world.

They have been growing fast, but the question is how to develop their online presence and attract even more customers.

2. Solution

I recommended improvements in SEO as an effective method to increase organic research from online searches.

They already had a professional and well-managed website which was a good starting point.

3. Results

I analyzed and produced a number of lists, namely

  • Multiple lists for fixing on-page SEO: missing image alt texts, meta descriptions, and canonical tags.
  • Content ideas and frequently-asked questions.
  • A list of keywords to rank for and compete on.
  • A list of competitors to “spy” on and analyze their performance
  • A list of pages that can potentially rank in the top 1-5 position on SERP.

“Good SEO work only gets better over time. It’s only search engine tricks that need to keep changing when the ranking algorithms change.” – Jim Whalen

Methodology

It starts with an analysis of your website. We’ll see the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I’ll fix what needs fixing and work up from there – titles, descriptions, 404e, 301 redirects, robot.txt, and all those good stuff.

I’ve got good news. Your competitors are missing important and easy to rank keywords.

My job is to help you find those keywords.

A content strategy will go a long way in the SEO scheme of things.

I’ll create a content pillar and niche topics based on the researched keywords.

Time to dive into the action. A content schedule to ensure everything is “according to plan”.

But first, we’ll first correct on-page SEO problems. Link building is a long process.

Here’s the thing, SEO doesn’t happen in a day. It takes time. Be it 1 week or 1 month, spoiler alert – it’s usually more.

I’ll monitor closely the traffic. Then magnify what works and review what doesn’t.
